No Worries in Moray
No Worries In Moray is a project part of Moray School Bank, started in 2018 providing trips to families struggling financially in Moray to places they couldn’t usually afford over the school holidays, like Landmark, the Highland Wildlife Park, Theatre Shows and so much more.
Giving families this opportunity takes a weight off their shoulders and gives them time to spend together away from the stress and worry of being at home. It means that the children have something to look forward to too, and that they have something to talk about when they go back to school, just like their peers.
We cover everything, travel (via our minibus), admission, lunch, and money for the kids to spend in the gift shop.
But trips aren’t the only thing we do, we also have a beach hut at Findhorn beach that families we support can book for free, or the public can book for a suggested donation. A Community Minibus, which can be booked for a suggested donation by individuals, groups and businesses. And a Community Garden in Craigellachie, where bookings are free.
